Poe West is now kicking off the final phase of historic restoration work to the Streetside building, located at the front of our development, to restore the vintage, 1960s mad-men era offices and attract office and retail occupants.
Most of us know the television series, Mad Men, for its dramatic and eerily-realistic portrayal of the time period it reflected from March 1960 to November 1970. But, for those who have not had the pleasure of watching the show, Poe West’s new historical space has all of the charm and allure that the fictional series offers, down to its walls.
Not only is this spot in the bustling area of WestGreenville, it also has historic status that means the space embodies the distinctive characteristics of a type, period, or method of construction.
This historic milestone and landmark has granted Streetside and all of Poe West’s tenants with special tax advantages, lowering their occupancy costs for paying less in taxes than most other properties around town. This is a huge win for our tenants and our development as a whole.
Senior Vice President at CBRE, Blaine Hart, says,
Construction should be wrapping up in one month, so if you know of any tenants who might be looking, send this their way!
